You won’t miss a thing as we spend four days covering all the significant events that led to the most important battle in history: the Allied planning involved, the daring pre-H-Hour missions including American and British airborne operations, the sea landings, the build-up, the battle for Normandy and the breakout. Mere Eglise, St. Marie-du-Mont and La Madeline at Utah Beach; Pointe du Hoc (seen above), Vierville, Les Moulins, Colleville and Longues sur Mer at Omaha Beach; Bayeux and Arromanches at Gold Beach and Pegasus Bridge at Sword Beach. |
