| D-Day & Battle of the Bulge: Rhinefels Castle  This is our hotel on the Rhine River. We stay here on the last two nights of the tour. Rhinefels Castle has been watching over the Rhine for eight hundered years, and it offers all the comfort and amenities of a modern, four-star hotel. You’re sure to sleep like royalty after a special four-course dinner at the castle, and some of you will even have a room with a view of the Rhine. On the way to the castle, you will learn about the history of Germany and the various Allied crossings of the legendary river during the spring of 1945. The next day after a hearty breakfast buffet, we’ll continue with a Rhine River cruise and free time in the charming town of Rudesheim. |
