Operation: Barbarossa
Moscow

Operation: Babarossa. After making the Pact of Steel with Josef Stalin and then dividing conquered Poland with the Soviet Dictator, Hitler defied all odds by invading Russia in June 1941. As Napoleon did many years before him, Hitler's Armys thundered across the Belorussian plains with great speed and conviction. But as the Germans approached Moscow, the harder and more dedicated the Soviets fought. As Hitler's supply lines ran short and the Russian winter arrived, the battle changed and the tide was turned.
