About Showdown at Juarez Canyon
Showdown at Juarez Canyon is our huge barbecue festival every September, featuring two dozen teams in a competition cook-off for the best Pulled Pork, Brisket, Chicken and Ribs. Organized in cooperation with the Pacific Northwest Barbecue Association, Showdown at Juarez Canyon is our biggest party and our most popular annual event! More about Showdown

Sample Sponsor Night Program
All sponsors with black VIP passes will need to arrive at 3:00 pm for a short judging instruction course. You will meet in the sponsor corral; if you don't want to judge that is okay we will have a sponsor tasting table for all those not judging.

4:00 pm -- Pacific Seafood salmon judging -- open tasting
4:45 pm -- Carlton Farms ground pork judging -- open tasting

Relax; enjoy the night, you the sponsors are what make this event happen! After the buffet the teams usually start prepping the "Big Meats" - Pulled Pork and Brisket for the next day. Don't be shy, go around see how it is done! The teams are very friendly and all of them love to talk BBQ. We end the Sponsor Night at about 9:00 pm with quiet time for the teams going from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am the next morning.
